Trout Farm History

The Commerce City Trout Farm

Long before it was an industrial hub, Commerce City was home to a trout farm and hatchery, part of the National Fish Hatchery System. The exhibit pages below, scanned from the museum's original flip-book display, follow the farm's history from its early operations through the flood of 1965.
